How do you clean them? Compressed air or can they be washed?

If they can be washed, whats the safest way to wash without tearing it?

Do they need reoiling?

Thanks.

Not sure about BMC ones but K+N ones can be washed,i would be careful about using compressed air in case you blow through it and they need to be re-oiled after washing.

It's about the most friendly washing powder you can get.

I'm quite sure you can buy generic air-filter oil (it's what gives them that pink tinge). As for washing I've heard of people using petrol. Don't put it in your tank afterwards, obviously.
