Removing throttle stop on 2003 zx636 b1h

I want to take my restrictor off my 636 now..

Its a throttle stop and im just wondering how to remove it

I didnt see the mechanic fit the restrictor, so im not sure where he put it on.

I've heard i have to take the tank and the airbox off and the throttle bodies but not exactly sure

Anyone know or can help. Thanks Dan Thumbs Up

depends what end the stop was put, but yea take it to bits and you will soon see it im sure.

I did my speed four (FI as well) and yea you take the fuel tank off and then the airbox (which sort just pulls off with fixings as such i guess cos of the fuel tank being above it)

Anyways, me and my friend weren't really sure what we were looking for either but just turn the throttle you can see on the side of the throttle bodies there was a piece of metal that stops the throttle bodies from fully opening.

This then just needs to be unscrewed and IIRC the screw was put back in but without the stop Thumbs Up

I just cant be bothered to take the tank off and muck around with it, but i suppose ill have to do it, thanks for the help mate.

doesn't take that long really mate, infact removing the tank on the B1H was easy compared to when i used to do it on my zxr, you barely get any fuel leakage atall, just have something handy to prop the tank up a bit while you disconnect the fuel line, think i threw a can of gunk under there to hold it up Thumbs Up

you could prob have the tank and airbox off in 20 mins or less Thumbs Up

There will probably be some of those washers in the airbox as well.

My GSXR6 had those as well as the throttle stop, both were removed within about ten minutes.
