What can go wrong with a kickstart? Looking at an advert in the local rag and the owner says hes removed the kickstart as the bearing has gone. The bike is a KH125.

Thanks,
Harry.

I saw a similar bike where he said the bearing had gone on the kick start by this he meant that thing that held the kick start out of the way has fallen off and the kickstart would fall into kick position all the time.

Can't tell unless you go look or maybe just go and ask him which bearing.

buy it and sell me the barrel Wink
i doubt that you'd need to remove the kick start because of the bearing??
may be the spring has come loose and is doing what itchy says,
they are are pretty damn simple bike to be honest, a complete strip down only takes about 30mins, and to get to the kick start spring is a 5 minute job

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
