 |
|
Believe it or not i have only just discovered what sidelights are...
And i thought they were dipped beam
Anyway, on the gpx400r and xj600s if i put my switch into the 'sidelights' position only the rear light illuminates on both bikes. However on an sv650 i have just seen it has a small light up front that illuminates.
Should the gpx400r and xj600s have a light on on the front when the sidelights are on? and if so where is the bulb as obviously this needs replacing!
Sorry this sounds so stupid, i can strip and engine now but bugger me if i understand electrics. ____________________ Current Bike: 1996 Yamaha TRX850 (The Japanese-Ducati One).

Well the XJ 600 certainly has a sidelight bulb.
Find it in the headlight at the bottom.
I would say most bikes have them in the same place as well. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

On this XJ. Stick your hand up the fairing between the forks and feel for the wires at the bottom of the light. Its just a rubber bung that you pull out. Its a lot easier than the main bulb ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |
