Depends on the bike actually, <£30 is an OK chain , only OK , < £50 is better £60-£80ish is a good chain £80+ for the X DID gold type chains are the best stuff. Charlie's dad's gold chain is alledged to be 40,000 miles old and wears out the sprockets.
Fitting should be no more than £25 though, you can minimise this by fitting it yourself sticking the split/soft link in riding carefully and slowly to the shop you bought it from to rivet it shut. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
