You probably have the newer Euro3 model with the new style carb with TPS sensor etc... if so youll need a few parts to make it all work.

Carb needle, jets, decat exhaust etc...

erm...
thats exactly what i posted.
however it doesnt tell him where to plug in the solenoid control cable.
on pre2006 models it plugged into the main loom via a block connector on the right hand side, under tank & back towards carb.
sounds like hes saying theres no connector?
therefore no sense in connecting the pv blade up etc if there no power going to the solenoid.
cheers,
GAZ
edit : im reliably informed that the loom is still the same.
therefore your looking for a spare block connector, lol
as above on the right side. just back a bit from where solenoid bolts to frame.
follow the man loom back, & branching off it should be a short lenth of cable with the connector.
solenoid control cable plugs in there.
exits out the rear, under rear seat & into rave box.

You can find it in 2008 (Euro3) bike.

hi,
he's right...sort of.
if you have the new shape CDI, you dont need a "rave" box (powervalve control box)
but afaik the loom has the connection for the pv solenoid.
you dont need the rave box as its built into the CDI! (remember to get the hole drilled though)
bolt the pv housing complete with blade onto cylinder,
fit bowden cable, one end to pv blade other end to solenoid.
bolt solenoid to right side of frame. (holes are already there)
plug solenoid control cable into the elusive block connector.
change jets,spark plug etc.
enjoy.
