Chelsea should have won this game. We were better than them the whole match. Essien is the king! I cant believe it got snatched from us in the 92nd minute! we should have had atleast one penalty and if drogba wasnt such a twat we would have been 2 - 0 up. Crying or Very sad

Basically football does not work on stats, saying that Barca were the ones who will be at the final. We should have won, there were some awful decisions from the ref and his assistance, but we should have scored at least 2 goals in open play and we didn’t and that’s why we lost!

If you dont score enough goals, you dont go through!

They didn't take their chances and paid the price for it. So the ref made a few mistakes, but players constantly make mistakes too. Drogba a clear example with all his diving and cheating, rolling around like he's just been shot! Pathetic! Laughing

As a Man U supporter I'm glad we've got Barcelona in the final. Chelsea would have been good to but we already know we're better than them... it's gonna be a fantastic final! Razz

As for the ref's decision well that's football. Man U have had their fair share of daft decisions too but have learnt that the only way to win matches is to score goals.... and lots of them!

Drogba deserves everything he gets, jumped up, overpaid, spoilt brat that he is...

I am going to Barca in a couple of weeks. It's a stag do but we are going to see Barca's last home game.

Happen I might curl a length out on the seat before I leave. I think that would cheer me up somewhat. I will take donations towards a curry and copious amounts of guiness and peanuts on the night before too. PM me for details!!!!! Thumbs Up

Over 2 legs Barca were the better side - come on, be honest about it.

Chelsea's tactics of holding them up worked well, but the thing with quality sides with quality players is they only need one chance and they take it. Chelsea should know that now shouldn't they Wink

Sometimes footballers can be over the top, just wondering if you have ever played a sport? I play Sunday league football (Basically running round taking lumps out of each other Wink ) And this Sunday we will be playing in a cup final and I know for a fact, if a similar thing happened to my team I would have reacted in the same way as Ballack! It's not always right but it's the passion you get when playing for a team and having a massive desire for winning.

As for the Michael & Webb clip, I have seen it enough times, and it is funny... But when you support a team since you remember, spend lots of hard earned dosh watching them, there is nothing wrong with saying 'we'. I t i s c a l l e d b e i n g a s u p p o r t e r, and it applies to most team sports. Don't get me wrong I am no football freak and am quite aware there is more to life then football, and I think with a few box’s of tissues will get over last night.

Yes, i have played many sports, some team, some individual, some for fun, some i've competed at a fairly decent level at.
I have only ever really frequently seen that sort of pathetic behaviour in football, oh yeah, and in tennis when John McEnroe (sp?) played.
I find baracking the ref disgraceful and immature, it has nothing to do with passion, and everything to do with being spoilt and silly.
I t i s c a l l e d b e i n g a w a n k e r.
Take, for example, Rugby Union (which i both played and support), you do not get that sort of behaviour - argue with the ref once over a penalty you get moved back 10 yards, do it again and you're usually off the pitch.
I'd love to see that brought into place in football, but i feel that there wouldn't be much of a game - merely a lot of people stood at the sidelines:
What's that sonny, didn't like my decision? Right, off you go.
What's that, you don't like me sending him off? Right, off you go too.
What's that............etc etc
