I'm hoping to pick my CB500 back up this weekend and nurse it home (on the assumption I can get a RH footpeg hanger- if anyone has one lying about, please let me know!).
The only obvious issue appears to be that the handlebars are a few degrees off the straight. Am I right in thinking that the only thing I need to do is to slacken off the big silver nut (that is the technical term, isn't it? ) and straighten things up? If so, does anyone have any idea what size socket I'm likely to need for it? The haynes doesn't mention it, much to my dismay.
(I'm aware that it may have more issues than that, but the aim is a slow jaunt from hammersmith to walthamstow so that it's back in my grubby mitts. If that means doing no more than a brisk walking pace, so be it!)
Cheers,

That sounds like the operation I need!
Cheers for that, I'll drop you a PM about the other bits once I get the poor thing home.
