After getting so thoughtlessly lashed with my coursemates/housemates after handing in my dissertatation, i had a very bad hangover as a result of this... (WELL If you don't like me.. then why the hell did you click this link... anybody by now should have realised if it's a post by me, you'd expect senseless stupidity Karma Rolling Eyes )

FRANK THE TANK! FRANK THE TANK! and YES, i DID go streaking through the quads, into the gymnasium (well Towers block @ lubra all the way past first XV pitches)

After my liver had recovered and knowing that I only had 3 weeks left at uni, i decided to retrace all my favourite roads in the area... and then I stumbled across this.

Belvoir Castle - Actually pronounced Beaver castle...

You go through some absolutely wicked roads to get there, mix of tree lined twisties and undulating farm tracks. Getting air at 90+mph as the rear unloads is one of the reasons why I kept that road a secret. Police biker told me about this road when I was asking for any "places of interest" near Loughborough

https://p1.bikepics.com/pics/2009%5C05%5C11%5Cbikepics-1664054-full.jpg

And that's just outside the castle.

But you go there purely for the view

Just a shout out, this place is only 10 mins away from the 6 hills bike meet and is VERY quiet. It's slightly off the beaten track which is why it's a hidden gem.

I really am gonna miss being at uni; the lifestyle, the road, the locations Crying or Very sad

Oh, if you wanted the upskirt pic...

Then here it is

Oh, another use for a race exhaust is a red-bull butt launcher!

My mate Foreshaw taking it up his arse. The can hit him at about 50mph as it got ejected from the race can (shove the can as far into the spout as possible and then hit the starter button).. We were having way too much fun on it! You can see the can falling down the side of his leg!

I guess it's the ultimate sacrifice that a parent makes. They could have done a lot of things in their life but thought that they could invest an non-returnable investment, i.e. moi. I had a trust fund that pretty much sorted me out for accomadation and food. My parents eventually emigrated back to indonesia during my freshers year cos my dad retired and that gave me the freedom to do anything i wanted.

Now, student loan would have been surplus to requirements, but I was foolish enough to get one.. and i felt really itchy so i bought stupid things; most notably stocks in alpinestars! Confused

Oh, i worked on industrial placement last year and earned myself some nice £££, 3k of which went to repairing a turd that was my ZX6R which was a write off.

Equally it can be said that if I got a car, it would have been a LOT more to run and tax and insure.

I suppose I've been blessed by having understanding parents.. but at the same time have had my equal measure of bad luck. But live and learn. Whilst i still have the bank of mum and dad, make the most of it!

That's the spirit. Thumbs Up Laughing

Well to be honest with you; I never spend more than 2400 on bikes. Ironically, the most I spent on a bike was for my XR125! My Kwaka's were 1200 a piece; then the blade was 2.3k.. so work your way up and treat yourself for 3rd year. You can tell if it's a finallist cos they tend to have group 16 INS bikes due to their age and cheap insurance after accumilating NCB on smaller bikes.

Where you at for uni dude?
