As this is the first time I've sold a bike midway into an insurance policy, do insurance companies charge for changing your policy to the new bike? I'm with Swinton by the way.

Some charge a "administration fee" as well as a change of premium (which may go up or down).

You're best off either reading their terms and conditions on their website, or calling them up.

You might even find that the company you are currently with will not be able to offer cover for your new bike and you'll have to take out a new policy.
