Well after all the fluffing about I had as mentioned in the Workshop section. Today My little pop pop passed the MOT first time. Bought bike off ebay as a non runner for £360. (I liked the colour scheme) sorted all electrics but spent nearly 3 weeks on an ignition problem. New exhaust off ebay for £52 and I'm happy. https://www.atvlondon.net/cg125.jpg |

It's running like a little singer sowing machine. It starts first kick and I don't even have to give it a hard kick either. The compression is right up at 125. Total cost of repairs came to around £70 as apart from the exhaust I had to buy a new flasher relay and a headlight bulb. Yes I know they aren't fast but I had to sell me ZX6R because it was taking its toll on my shoulders, arms and fingers. I couldn't enjoy going out on a long ride anymore so I thought I'll just buy a little runabout for short treks. As long as I've got a motorbike sitting in the garage I'm happy. |

That's lovely, but I think the point he was making is that it's against forum rules to have animated avatars.
Oh, and nice CG. ____________________ CBR125|||GSXR400|||CBR400|||CBR400|||CB250RS|||GSXR750|||CB250RS

I had one identical to that on a G (1989) reg, bought it to make some money, wasn't in such good condition to be fair. My proper bike is a red G (1990) reg, same graphics, I paid £400 last april for it, and in all honesty it's done me dead proud, easily 110-120mpg and as for parts its all service items really (tyres, spark plugs, oil and a set of points have been the only real things its needed) How many miles has yours done? ____________________ '84 TS50X, '91 TZR125, '89 CBR400RR, '91 VFR400R NC30, '98 R1

Just sorted out the front wheel problem. Person hadn't fitted the inner tube properly so it was just sticking out under the tyre. Although this couldn't be seen until I deflated the tyre. All running perfectly now... still slow though ____________________ All matter is energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one conciousness expressing itself selectively. for a cg 16,000 miles isnt all that much, by the clock mines done just over 36,400, but i know for a fact that at least 6,000 were covered on a different set of clocks which then broke, so i pinched the outer casing the exhaust looks different to mine, is it a genuine Honda one or is it a pattern part? ____________________ '84 TS50X, '91 TZR125, '89 CBR400RR, '91 VFR400R NC30, '98 R1

judging by the condition of the bike id say that the mileage is more or less right you might find that the top part of the exhaust starts to burnish, I don't know why, but it seems that the original part doesn't have this problem ____________________ '84 TS50X, '91 TZR125, '89 CBR400RR, '91 VFR400R NC30, '98 R1
