Agreed, it's do-able, but not pleasant - i did Perpingan to Calais, Eurotunnel and then up to Herts in one session on my K5 750 - left at 12pm arrived home at 2.30am - around 1400km/900 miles. I was cruising on the Autotroutes at around a steady 120mph, stopping every 110 miles or so for fuel, piss, stretch, caffeine and nicotine.
I was physically exhausted, but due to my caffeine intake i couldn't sleep - was wiped out the next day though, and wouldn't do it again.
If i were you, i'd have an overnight stop somewhere like Dijon or Lyon - that way when you do meet up with your mate, you'll actually be able to enjoy your time there, instead of being a zombie. ____________________ Space Monkey #7
