Hi,

I have a 2008 model Lifan 125 (Honda CG125 replica I think). The engine window shows the oil level is at minimum.

I didn't get a handbook so I'm not 100% certain *where* to topup the oil.

Here is a picture:

The arrow is pointing to what I *think* is the dipstick.

Here is a picture with the dipstick removed:

Also, what type of oil should I use?

Really appreciate any advice... cheers

Oil in that hole Thumbs Up

Just top it up slowly to give oil chance to sink to the viewing window, or you could end up over filling.

Any 10-40 or 20-50 should do. Just avoid stuff like Magnatec.

Perhaps the best bet would be to change the oil and put some fresh in there. THe amount you need is usually stamped on the case around the filler hole Thumbs Up

Personally i would go for a 10w40 Mineral oil .

As said avoid overfilling or it will do a shed load of damaged, If you think you have overfilled, just undo the sump plug and let a bit out until its just Max level.

It would only damage the bike if he put half a litre too much in... a little bit wond do any harm, stunt riders overfill their engines to prevent starvation but at the same time their engines dont pop as soon as they are being ridden flat whilst mid burnout. Thumbs Up Wink
