do you have a heat indicator (i dont know the proper word for it)
if you do.. how hot was it?
because my hornet got so hot the other day that it had trouble pulling away and started bogging down. if it had got much hotter it probably would have cut out.
riding at slow speeds in hot weather causes too much heat.

if it gets hot and starts bogging down either ride very fast or stop in the shade and leave it for abit.

Did it stall when you stopped or did it cut out on the run?

When you tried to restart did you have to turn it over for a while or did it start instantly?

If it took a while to restart then its likely to be aheat related issue particularly as you're running an aircooled bike.

No it does not have a heat indicator but it was hot today here in Brum the bike cut out while slowing down for traffic lights and started as normal after I had pushed it out of the way of the traffic.
