Okay I have a somewhat exotic plant growing
I noticed this morning the lower leaves are going quite a yellow colour and are sort of curling up?
Over watering? Over feeding ? Not getting enough light to them ?
The symptoms are looking towards root rot
Im a little lost

EDIT : The rest of the plant seems to be nice and healthy. . .

Sounds like over feeding or MG deficiency. Over feeding the edges of the leaves curl in and look 'burnt', mg deficiency the leaves turn yellow and edges curl in a bit.

Depends what you're growing and what you're feeding it. Unlikely to be over watering. Do the plants need potting up?

Neither do bad damage, leaves should regain normal colour when the problem is sorted. If it's MG deficiency then you need to add epsom salts when watering, about 15g per 5 litres of water. If it's over feeding then if you've overfeed by a lot then flush the soil through or if it's only slightly over fed then the plants should be ok if you don't do anything other than feed them less.

What are you growing? Razz

How old are the plants cos you shouldn't be feeding them anything until they're flowering.

Yellow leaves usually mean water logged, to much water in plant. Are we actually talking about marijuanna plants? I recommend
Ebay Link
(does wonders on roses to but will kill some other plants)
good stuff. When its big enough get the bloom one for budding.

Ebay Link

so I hear anyway Shifty
Ok if we arnt talking about that then just stop watering the weird plant so much and post a pic.

Be very surprised if plant damage is caused by over watering as cannabis is a weed, so is very resilient.

You want to use BioBizz to feed the plants, I would be very cautious about using imitations like that Ionic stuff. If you've just gone into 12/12 then start giving them 1ml of each plant feed. Smile

Is it from seed or from a cutting?

Watch out for the stretch!!

If its a cutting use the ionics hormone rooting gel and not the powder from garden centres its crap.

If its budding it should have yellow leaves ( bottom fan leaves)on it as it takes all the sugars and the nutients out of the leaves to go to the bud, just let them fall off.

When I said water logged I noticed some of my roses had yellow leaves and thats what that means. Watch for small spiders and greenfly. Let the plant use all its water and not have it like a swamp all the time.

Room temperature water also as to cold shocks the plant. Do not use baby bio on anything. Big enough pots also dont want to choke the roots your plant will be smaller and no good.

when you go to also pot in a new bigger roomy pot cut the root at the bottom, just slash it in small places not masacar it, roots will multiply after you re pot.

you growing outside or in?

No idea about roses but with cannabis, fan leaves shouldn't go yellow at all and there shouldn't be any leaves falling off. Confused The leaves in the buds will start to turn yellow and dry out towards the ends of flowering, which is still a good couple of months away if he's just put them into 12/12

What Dragonfly said. Too much feed or overwatered. Those sorts of plants make sure you let the soil dry out( half inch down) I only water about mug & half of water every 2 or 3 days.
