What's the worst/best mileage you have managed to get before your reserve light comes on?

Worst was 65 miles on the 1098s and the best I've had so far is 90 before I have to fill up.

I used to get about 130 from my old Daytona 600 and at worst 95 miles.

Bloody stupid 16L tanks Rolling Eyes

My ZXR750 never hits reserve, I always fill up when I hit 100 miles on the trip counter. I dont like running the bike low on fuel.

The ZX10 uses almost two tanks of fuel per track day. No idea what that is!?

Thumbs Up

Worst I've seen is a mate of mine's Bandit 6 - he came over to mine, and I pillioned over to Warwickshire with him to pick up my CBR. Filled up at the end of my road before we set off, and he managed 100 miles before hitting reserve. That was two up though, so I thought hey, not to bad I guess. However, on the way back we both filled up in the same place, he managed to get back as far as the A12 turnoff before hitting reserve - so we pulled into the garage there and filled up again.

I only managed to get 8 quid in mine!! His was another full tank jobbie! Bloody hells bells it'd have been more economical and probably a lot more comfortable for me to have taken the car up there!

The rost I ever rode was a Vmax, around 70 miles to reserve with spirited riding.

Best ever was my hyosung cruise which had a 3.6 gallon tank-I got something like 350-400 miles to reserve.......

Aye they are frugal. I just kept wishing it was a 750 for a bit more oomph.

Incidentally if you can get a set of the 26mm carbies from a USA model Seca 2 (yank name for the divvy) it actually pulls alot better all the way through the rev range even tope end. Europe models have 28mm carbies.

Factory pro do a few boltons and jetkits for the divvy too-the ignition advancer completely changes the character of the engine, its not so sleepy. I dont remember the ignition arrangement on the divvy but u may be able to advance the ignition a little bit using a dremel Wink

15L to reserve, mileage is useless without fuel volume consumed.
