This morning on the way to work I went to the garage to get the bike and after turning the key to ON position (not yet started up the engine) I was putting on my gloves and helmet only to realise petrol leaking from the gape between the petrol tank and fairing immediatly under it on the left side Sad

After powering her up and wiping it clean and setting off I kept checking on the way (had a 30 minute ride) it had stopped. Now im going to leave work around 5 and go check on her again and hopefully it will stop leaking.

Any ideas on what the prob is? The bike has a fuel injection system by the way...

EDIT by leaking I mean petrol started dripping out and went down the frame etc but only dripping not some sudden flush of petrol lol.

You have a fuel leak.

That's your problem. Thumbs Up

I would suspect a split pipe, or something.......

Take it back to the garage and get them to sort it out.

No the overflow pipes are lead down byt he kick stand and theres nothing coming from those ends the fuel leaks from in between the fairings down the frame.

I believe a pipe must be faulty but it has a warratny which should take care of it Wink

Thanks for the help though for all that wrote back.

Picked it up today. Apparently a "o-ring" on one of the injectors had a little chip which was letting the petrol through... He showed me the o ring they took out and it was indeed cracked so im now Very Happy
