i have just bought a nw carburettor after i found out my old one as knackerd so i bought a 21mm mikuni carb for my bike only trouble is i cant find the correct intake manifold for it can you help ?
this carb is for my suzuki ts50x

also would a 1991 suzuki dr 125 rear mudguard fit my ts50 ?

what do you mean you can't find an inlet manifold? the mounting flange on the barrel is the inlet manifold,

the carb is ment to slip straight onto those two studs, if it doesn't then you've got the wrong carb

or do you mean the black heatproof spacer?

also, carbs are almost never EVER "knackered", it probably just needs cleaning

A standard ts50 will run absolutely crap with a 21 mm carb, the standard carb is 13mm, the biggest recommended size is 16/17mm, and thats for use with a 70cc "big bore" barrel and an after market exhaust system.
As said above, chances are yours just needs a good clean and overhaul, your pissing in the wind trying to get your TS to run properly with a 21mm carb.
What makes you think you need a new carb ?

the inlet tract on a 2t is a set tuned length to match the port timing of the cylinder & the exhaust expansion chamber to get the optimum amount of fuel into the barrel just as the eco from the exhaust stops it from going any further.

putting any extra manifold on there could completely reck the performance of the machine making it slower than it was when restricted, as the mixture would take longer to get to the bore meaning the eco from the exhaust will be pushing back into the barrel cutting the fuel of too soon. causing you to have too little fuel in the barrel and another piston with a big hole in it due to over weak mixture,

find out what's supposedly knackered on the stock carb & get it sorted properly before you fuck the thing up beyond repair

ok got it running found that the needle housing was getting jammed open finally so i lubed it up and it live but its very boggy think it may need that 72 jet back in ?

The standard main jet is 72.5.
