Is there anything I can do? a new one is £95 + fitting and the current one is only half worn. I don't think it is the valve although it is hard to tell and the valve points sidewards and I can't gob into it . I was thinking maybe tyre weld of something but I don't think it is designed to fix slow punctures.

Take it to a tyre repair place and they will be able to tell you where it is. I had one looked at yesterday on my thundercat as I couldn't for the life of me find the bastard puncture so thought maybe it was the valve or the tyre incorrectly seated on the rim. Turned out I had the worlds most pathetic puncture in the tyre Sad.

But if I were you I would definitely get it checked out by a pro if you are unable to locate it before trying anything like slime, tyre weld etc in the tyre just so you are aware of where it is because if it is the valve, it can always be replaced.

I can't check because im at work on my phone. But if you are local to medway come see me, i'll plug it for you, or change the valve if its that.

by the sounds of it you have a 90 degree bend in your valve, in which case i suspect its got an innertube.

Its prob just the valve, drop the wheel off and pump up tyre add water to valve and it will prob bubble. take it to your tyre man with 50p and he will tighten or replace the valve if needed.
