Right me and a few mates have decided to get some crossers,
Me - Full licence,
Mate 1 - CBT
Mate 2 - Nothing
Both mates have driving licence's so size is not really a problem.
I was thinking of KMX250, CR250 or DRZ400 (Me ) What would you guys, reccommend, current requirements are:
Cheap £250 - £500
Reliable
Semi onroad, only to the tracks
Easy maintainance
Low seat for me (short arse)
Winter hack (for me) so nothing special just a bit bigger for more fun.
Mate 2, wants to learn to ride on it, I suggested 125 but he wants a 250 (more £ then sense)

Well your chums on a CBT are limited to a 125 in any case.
DRZ isn't a great motocross bike, but it's better on the road than a proper motocross bike would be.
Are you doing proper tracks or just field stuff? ____________________ My Flickr |

Marjay, I couldn't agree with you more to you. I have told mate 3 that he needs something small, like said before both have cars thus a trailer would be easy, but mate 3 recons that because he has always had, dispite me teeling him, a 2.0l car feels a hell of alot different to a 400 or 500 bike.
Advise?
Cheers
