If the leve's coming back to the bar then you need to bleed the brake. New fluid won't go amiss either.

Have a look at the pads, they may not need changing.

You should grease around the bolt, not WD.

Have a look at the pads and see how worn they are. Could just need bleeding.

So bleeding brakes i take it is removing the resorvoir fluid cover and squeezing the brake until it stiffens up?

Laughing

In one word no!

I don't know how to do it but understand that you need some sort of kit to do it and personally I wouldn't risk doing it my self!

My front pads on the NSR lasted 5 months.

I was very shocked to find out that i needed new pads when it happpened.
Also needed a new front tire at the time too.

There's plenty of life left in both your front and rear pads. Are you sure you have routed the cable properly? The rear brake has been bled recently when I replaced the rear caliper, but new fluid in the front wouldn't go a miss as Colin pointed out. Get a specialist to do it for you. Your brakes could save your life (or not if done incorrectly). You will need a vacuum kit anyway so savew yourself a whole load of hassle.

Oh yeah and underseat exhaust. TJ according to you anything under 600 cc isnt a proper bike. I would have to disagree, i'd love to get me mits on an RS125 or RGV250! There is plenty of proper bikes below 600cc

Just a different profile on the tire i think.
18 inch wheels are a bit of a bugger to find half decent tires for.
But i like the pirelli sports demons i have on.

And having the rear brake on your foot is much better IMO.

Also have more control over the bike.

R = Model (either F or R)

Letter afterwards is year and place of official import.

K is italy i think.
J Is poland
and theres a few others i have written down... gotta find them though.

Thats a crossply tyre on the back, and you should really have on a radial or at least a bias belted on there.

Its narrow because 350 only corresponds to about 100-110. A 130 section radial tyre would be about an inch thicker.

BT45s come in 130-70/18, as do metzeler 550s. I had BT45s on the VFR and they were fine.

No, a cross ply will be fine. Certainly had them when new. A 3.50 tyre is a tad small though. Should be on a 2.15 rim I think. A 130 tyre is standard. Don't think anyone makes a 130/70 18 radial rear tyre

The BT45 is a cross ply. Got them on the FZ and the GPZ

All the best
