Bike Cover/Shed type thing

Tried normal covers but apart from them being a pain to fit with even slight wind and my back is usually killing after a ride... these sound ideal Smile

not sure what this thing comes under to search but does anyone have one of these contraptions and if so are they any good?

I keep my bike at the back of my flat but i can't have a proper shed but i could get away with this type of thing but i'm just not sure how good they are.

that looks quite cool, my first thought was how it would cope with wind, though it appears that you can bolt them down or something Smile

my biggest worry is someone swiping it, the back is has fairly high walls to shelter the wind (although still quite windy sometimes) but it could be chained to the gate to stop the casual chavs.

says it weighs 56lb's but i can't picture how heavy that is, lol

If no-one replies with some feedback on one then i'll probably just order one to see.

I'm quite tempted by that actually - its the sort of thing I'd considered trying to cobble together myself. The main question is whether it'd fit - I have one of those terraced house back yards that's pretty much just a narrow alleyway. Still, measurements are on there so out with the measuring tape I reckon...

It seems an interesting idea if space is at a premium, but for a similar price you could pick up a second hand shed from eBay and have enough room to ride the bike into the shed with room for a few tools etc.

I bought a bike barn which was a lot more expensive than that one but it is heavy duty and has a plate you can bolt into the ground. I moved to a place without a garage and it did the job well, now I have a garage I still have the bike barn over my bike inside the garage,

to be fair they dont look much different but i would cetainly use it again outside and we get some serious winds up here on the north eastern coast of Scotland.
