Basically im looking for parts for my carb. Its a mikuni and thats all i know, it has no serial numbers or anything reconisable to track it down.

I think it maybe a mikuni tmx but im not to sure as all the other tmx carbs i've looked at have not got the sloped induction from the air filter or to the cylinder.

I've attached a picture so if anyone could help that will be much appreciated Thumbs Up

cheers Tom

Hi,
does look like a tmx....
u measured the bore? (accurately)
that would be a good starting pont.
the mikuni guide is also useful.
give it a GOOD clean on the outside, & you might find a couple of faint numbers (maybe around about the choke area).
what bike did it come off? or did you just get the carb, on its own?
& specifically, what parts do you need?
cheers,
GAZ

hi,
iirc, the older ones had the vm26 (essentially same carb as the 125 gamma & mtx125,just different jets) got a couple lying in bits in ma big box of carb bits.
&, the later ones had the TM28.(imo a far better carb, though its not much bigger)
should be easy enough to identify by checking the workshop manuals, available over on dtr125.net.(well,they used to be)
cheers,
GAZ
