whats the consequences if you tugged and rumbled |

Provided you own both the bikes, i should think its ok. Remember the frame + engine nos. would need swapping too. ____________________ Eat well, poo hard

i once rode my VFR400 with my R6 plate on it.
nothing happened.

The idea crossed my mind a few days ago when thinking about buying another blue 2MA.
I know a guy who owns a few air cooled RDs. He's insured on one 250 and just swaps the plates around. If he wants to ride his 400, he puts the 250 side panels on it as well as the plate |

Hi
I suppose if they wanted to be really nasty you could be done for riding without insurance (after all, the bike you are riding with the altered chassis numbers, etc, isn't actually the bike you insured). Suspect they could find a few more things to do you for though.
The main reason for altering a chassis number is to sell on a stolen bike. Hence any bike with the chassis number altered will attract attention and be difficult to sell.
All the best

its not really a major with the engine, as these get swapped out all the time,
but bike conversion carries some pretty hefty penalties,
its also something they check on a mot,
i doubt the police would know if you were just riding about, but if you crashed they would pick it up ____________________ the humans are dead

Let's say you bought two Fireblades that were identical and you ground out the frame and engine numbers from both.
Then you insure and tax one bike, leaving the other Sorn'd.
I presume you could move the numberplate between the bikes safe in the knowledge that nobody could prove that the bike you were using wasn't the taxed and insured one...
(Ignoring of course any fines for removing numbers...) ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F

chances they would impound it because it could be a stolen bike but other wise i'm not sure what the penalty would be for no numbers on the bike ____________________ Carbon knuckles assure you maximum protect against debris and unfortunate accidents or if someone cuts you off, their side mirror.Mopeds are like chubby chicks.. they are really fun to ride until you're friends catch you on one |
