Recently a relative has asked me for my latest address, and I duly told her just to send things to my Dad, as I usually give him a load of stickers to forward stuff. It's just so much easier that way!

Anyway, she insisted...so I sent her the new address. This morning I open an email from her - she just sent off my Xmas gift, but to the wrong address. WTF!

Of all the places she has sent it, it is the one place I left under a cloud. The person had a mental breakdown, and had me out on the street within two hours on Boxing Day 2007.

I have called the Post Office, and they don't have anyway of intercepting the parcel. How naff is that!!!

Oh and my relative's reaction...it's clearly my fault for moving. Of course it is!!! Grrr!! Mad

Just go round to the house and ask for it, just stand a couple of feet from the door so any punches can't immediately connect with you. If they have it and refuse to give it to you I think you can actually involve the police because I believe it is an offence to withhold or destroy someone elses mail without giving them opportunity to take it.

Is the parcel worth the crap you may get, or has things had time to settle down enough just to pass the parcel over without things being said?

As for the balls, a pair of socks down the front gives the impression of having large gonads, just dont go swimming with socks still in place Embarassed

Tell her to go and get it! Otherwise just forget about it.

Will find out in about half an hour...eek!

Edit: Right I went round. Noone answered the door (dunno if I was gutted or relieved)...so I popped a pre-written note through the door.

Then I spied the postman, so laid in wait for him to come to the house...asked him if he had my parcel. Nope - damn wouldn've been too good if I'd intercepted it myself!!

Nothing more I can do. Sad
