Its self reinforcing in that because nobody dares to stand up to him, it causes confirmation bias.
You see related behaviour everywhere, in that because people will not challenge 'bad' things people continue to do these things. Last experience which is teniously related was the 10 items or less queue at morrisons. woman bought a full trolley and started to put things on.
I said quite loudly I guess some people can't count these days, the woman gave me an incredibly dirty look and yet became incredibly embarrassed and moved to another check out.
I personally blame shaggy, since he's been spreading that be more selfish book which virtually encourages such behaviour!. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. My guess......
Stepping in and flooring him sure might have been a fine thing, but you will have made it worse. He will take it out on her, so unless you can offer her 24/7 protection and a new life, it's pointless.
He obviously has her in the grips of fear, else she would have left him before the situation came to be as it currently is, so once you floored the guy, she'd have gone back to him, of this im 99% sure.
Either that or the minute you belt him in the face, she'd have jumped on your back as well telling you to fuck off - she might do this again out of fear that you're only making it worse and trying to look as if she is on her fellas side to avoid more of an ass-whooping, or simply because she is a female and is thus her actions largely make no sense whatsoever by default
One of my g/f mates is in a similar situation, went out with a guy, he starts slapping her around, dragging her out of her house and effectively kidnapping her, threatening to kill her etc but "she loves him" and then a few weeks later "he's changed" lol yeh ok love.
Then she has a kid with him (after several miscarriages which I'm told he was responsible for, the old slug in the guts method). Still slaps her around, chokes her near to death whilst the baby is in the cot next to her. But "I love him" keeps coming from somewhere. Maybe from the same place she buys all her make-up to cover up her blackeyes that she goes into work with. She's expecting their second kid now, and the fact that it's going to be a girl didnt please him one bit. I'll be surprised if she is alive by the time it's due.
I guess the point I'm making is some people cannot be helped because they don't even want to help themselves, for whatever reason they have in their minds.

It's like a vicious circle. By doing something you make it worse, but can't just do nothing when you see it happen. Either way the lady gets a smack.
Here's one for you, at what point does it become ok to hit a lady? If say your girlfriend is going mental and you can't restrain her and she keeps coming at you over and over again causing you harm is it right to give her a smack?
A mate of mine's ex was beserk, she used to punch the living shit out of him, and after loads of abuse he lost it and gave her one swift smack and she dropped like a sack of shit (apparently, i wasn't there). But at that time I empathised with him and felt it was what she deserved. That was then end of the relationship.
Another lad I know, happens to be his brother, doens't have any qualms about hitting a woman if she hits him first... He'd never beat a girl etc.. but since joining the marines his attitude became "If she hit's me, Im hitting her back, she'll think twice before trying it again".
Anyway what are you views??? ____________________ Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. |

If she;s going berserk and windmilling at me, even if she gets a punch in, then I'm likely to just restrain her until she calms down ( I have an evil choke hold, I reckon I could put someone out for the nite nite in 10 seconds, though have never had the cause to attempt it). At the end of the day the male has the strength advantage so will always be able to overpower a woman to restrain her, so for this theres no reason to hit them.
If she comes at me with a weapon I'll smack her so hard her grandad will feel it.

Lmao, I think I'd rather try my luck wrestling a bear.
Still, fingers to the eyes and her walnut cracking thighs are all in vain.

My bro in law had a psycho GF before he met my sister, when they split he went back for his stereo. She threw one of the speakers down the stairs at him and then ran to the kitchen and got a knife. He laid her out, took the knife off her and used the speaker cable to tie her to a chair. He then left with his stereo and rang her brother to go and untie her.
He said to me it didn't feel right to hit her but it was preferable to getting knifed in the ribs.
As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't hit a woman unless I was in a similar position, or if she was masculine and strong enough to threaten me with a kicking. I once saw a woman trying to beat the hell out of a bloke in a nightclub, he was in the classic boxer's cover up pose, fists infront of the face, elbows tucked in covering ribs and she was raining fairly pathetic punchs to his head and shoulders. When she had finished he was still laughing.
Blokes should be able to put up with the worst a normal woman can do, unless she goes for the bollocks, in which case restraining is necessary.
Cheers

That's weird. My height and size have granted me the blessing of never having people try it on with me, yet you find the opposite? |
Possibly because I may have been in more situations where little people have felt the need to show how big they are. There are many times in everyday situations where my size and build is an advantage, I have never needed to walk around a group of people for instance, going into clubs and pubs, the door staff give you a smile and a nod while holding the door open, but in the supermarket or going to the bar or when there is a drunken group, it is the little one that jumps up and mouths of as if he/she needs to prove something.
When in my old job, it was the little persons who were the problem people, be it customers or naughty gits.
I would like to know, as a side issue, why Hetzer has become all Fluffy Bunny like with his posts popping up all over the forum, even going as far as to take me off his enemy setting ? There is something very wrong and it is not natural. There has got to be a catch. The subject may need it's own thread to even things out. ____________________ Famous last words of Humpty Dumpty.
