Since buying my R6 a month ago the LED indicators have stopped flashing correctly. At first they were 'as normal', flashing at the correct speed etc. For the past few weeks I have noticed that whenever switching the indicators on they will flash for a split second then not work at all. This is quite strange as when engaging and disengaging the alarm they flash correctly but its just when trying to use them on the road which is the problem. I don't think it is a loose wire as they work correctly for the alarm, just not when out on the road. Could this mean the resistor has gone? Does anybody have any ideas as to what the problem is?

Cheers
Jock

Do you know where I would find the flasher unit on the bike?

Pull it out and see, it shouldn't be hard, turn your ignition on and turn the indicator on. You will here the flasher unit, It is the thing that clicks.

i had a big problem with mine mate i fitted led indicators and all was fine for a few weeks. the relay went and when i bought a new one is stayed the same i got stressed and said a few bad words along the lines of FOOKING BIKE I HATE YOU!! and then i found out i needed a aftermarked "led" relay and i bought this and all is/was fine then so keep that in mind.

the led relay is only needed if you have x2 sets of led indicators..
