I took the TLR out for one last ride today. It's currently on Ebay. Sad

Me and Roxanne split, so I've no need for such a big bike really. Gonna get a supermoto at some point.

Plus, my NCB is keeping my pit bike insured, as that things a bastard to insure!

It's gone. Sad

Got a sniff under my asking price. But the buyer said he will TAX it himself. I said it will come with a fresh lot of TAX on it (as it runs out end of the month).

So realistically I got my asking price. Which is good! Smile

Good bye TLR. Crying or Very sad

Beautiful looking bike. Pity you feel that you've got no need for it anymore!

I had every need for it. I stood at the bottom of my drive and watched it ride off up the street. Crying or Very sad

It had to go because of moneies. Roxanne's gone. I was £700 into my overdraft, And had £300 on my CC.
Halifax have started charging £1 a day to anybody who is in their overdraft. It might not sound alot. But when my income is only covering my outgoings by about £100 a month. £30 coming out of that to pay for something I dont really want to be using anyway, is actually alot of dosh!

My pay is due to increase dramatically at work in the next few months. I've got about £1k to dip into occasionally when I fancy going out, Or if i need to buy anything. Come mid summer, I'll be saving for another big bike to buy over next winter. Strip down and clean it right up over next winter ready for a good 2011 summer of riding! Very Happy

2010 is all about supermoto league on the TZR pit bike. Twisted Evil

Sorry to hear you had to let the big TLR go too!
Your TZR pit bike, is a wicked machine though, and if i had your stable, me being me would have left the TLR in the corner of the garage, to go out making silly but exciting ring ding ding noise's, and blue smoke signals!

I hope you find a nice supermoto that is the right level of compromise for your needs, and one that would make a relaxed and sensible alternative to your pit bike specials, when you feel the need to behave, relax or go out on long BCF rides/away for weekends etc.

It's not a great place to admit it on here, but when i had my tuned speedfight 100 at the same time as my ZX6R, i used to wheel the Kawasaki out of the way, so that i could go out on the Speedfight much more often than i should have done TBH!

I'll get myself a used litre+ naked bike for 2012, but until then i'll be messing about with KMX's and bodging SM parts on to fit! Laughing
