That doesnt look too shabby Seems fairly decent quality from the pics. Thats the one thing that puts me off using my bike for trackdays, im considering a 'cheaper' bike to use for track days only. |

i've been pondering over these chinese fairings for a while now (2 years ), but have always been put off by the risk of import duty and the fact that the holes could be nowhere near in the right place and leave me with random (seen) holes in the fairing.
how far off were the holes and how long did the kit take to arrive once bought? ____________________ 04 NSR 125(sold) ---- 03 CBR 600rr(sold) ----90 pan euro ST1100 ' ' ----02 CG 125

It might just be me but in the 2nd pic it looks like the swingarm is sort of bent towards the camera.
Or is it just an illusion by the exhaust? ____________________ Don't practice it until you get it right, practice it until you don't get it wrong.

The exhaust was bent towards the swingarm, well the hanger was anyway. Swingarm is fine, it didnt take a hit except for the when exhaust got pushed into it.
Amazingly it all pulled back into shape well enough. Some grazing on the mid pipes and some minor marks on the end of the exhaust but overall the high levels actually had less damage because they were so close to the bike. ____________________ My bikes are at https://www.bikepics.com/members/dynamight/ |

I do have some Jardine high level cans as shown in the first pic a the top. The metal gets very dull and stained when it rains so I tend to leave them off in the winter. I dont mind it quiet anyway, it's pretty much the same noise when I'm riding, just not as loud for people around me
They're fine on the track, heavy so dont turn as quickly as the lighter bikes but are very stable once over. Speed wise they're about the same as a newish 600 but overall, a decent rider on both and a 600 would be quicker. ____________________ My bikes are at https://www.bikepics.com/members/dynamight/ |

Nice bike
Got an alarm on there? Where do you live? Is the bike at your property? What time do you start work? |

I have to get one of these (would like to get this for £1600 if I can get the money together).
Did you get slapped with any import tax for the plastics?
How much does it cost to fill her up and how far does it generally get you if you ride gingerly? |

Nope it was marked as a gift so no import tax.
It's an 18l tank, 4l reserve so roughly £16 depending on stupid fuel prices!
Tank range is about 100-120 miles depending on how you hammer it. I have got 143miles before reserve on a motorway stint, well the last 30miles were fast and flowing - I was quite impressed with that. Most important part is a Power Commander! massively increased MPG and makes the whole thing much smoother. ____________________ My bikes are at https://www.bikepics.com/members/dynamight/ |

AND!!
They don't like sitting at 30. seems to be a slight flaw with the fuelling with the injectors, i think cant remember what Seb said that mine is one less tooth on the front. this seems to have sorted it?

Be careful if you go for a crashed SP1, check the radiators *very* closely, any damage beyond snapped tabs that can't be wielded up and you've got a huge bill on your plate to sort it out.
Just to note, average tank range without a PC3 is about 80 miles, I had it in my head that the tank was 16L though? And yes, be prepared to do quite a lot of tinkering if you want the bike to be remotely smooth at anything less than 40mph.
They are absolutely epic bikes though ____________________ 2010 Triumph 1050 Sprint ST |

There's no issue with 30mph or low revs with the power commander fitted. I bought mine without and whilst I wouldn't say it was unrideable, it very quickly became unbearable - very juddery and unpredictable at anything below 4-5k RPM.
I get about 110-130 miles to reserve depending on how I ride. The tank is 18l - a lesson they learned after the 15l Firestorm tank was so widely criticised.
Dynamight - the fairing kit actually looks very impressive from the pictures - how does the quality compare with the OE stuff? Does it look/feel cheaper in the flesh? Did you have your tank resprayed or buy a second tank?
Oh and sound aside, stock cans do look better than almost all of the after market jobs ____________________ Current: Ducati Panigale R / Ducati Streetfighter S / Suzuki GSX-R1000 L5 |

I've had a very bad experience with the whole chinese fairings thing.. wouldnt recommend it..
Mine came with loads of cracks and when I send it back (which had tracking and showed that they signed for it) they claimed they didnt recieve it and ignored everything else from me ____________________ Previous Bike: ZXR 400
