hi there is there any way to open a fuel cap i got my gilera cougar to night i got two keys they open all the locks except the fuel cap i am a joiner and have picked house locks but not this type any help please i put wd 40 on it but i think it is another cap the dealer only had the two keys

If you got the bike from a dealer, I would take it back to them or get them out to sort it.

Load the key hole up with wd40 or gt85, take it to a garage and ask them to get the air hose on it to clean out the sh*t, then try.

Its worked for me before with my seat lock!

hi there it is a metal cap i have tried everything wd40 pushing the cap down i think it must be a different cat that is on the bike the dealer had a shot last night to open it he took £30 the price so any suggestions on how to take it off

Hammering a screw driver into the lock will break it and mean you can open it. Of course you'll then need a new cap.

Had exactly the same problem but WD40 solved it.you clearly must have had wrong key,right?

The petrol caps on the cougar are a right bastard to open even with the right key.

No need to buy a new one, just hang a scewdriver on your keychain to be used as a key whenever you fill up.
