This morning i went for a ride as usual and thanks to some black ice I had a fall. Embarassed
Been the first time I feel now a biker ahah.
Anyway luckily the fall was at very slow speed due to the fact that I was approaching a roundabout and the road was already nasty.
the bike didn't have any major damage apart from a slightly broken side panel on the back.
the only thing is that now i feel the handlebar are not completely straight. Like when they need to be adjusted on a bicycle.
Is this something I can do myself or do I need to take the bike to the garage.
Any opinions are welcome.
thanks.

You don't sound too confident with the spanners so I reckon your probably better asking a pal to have a look for you.

Lol Its an easy job to adjust the bars but unless you have clip ons they're probably bent.
Don't rule out the frame being bent or the forks being twisted in the yokes. If your not sure take it to a garage.

Have a good look at it and try to see where exactly they are bent. I doubt you have twisted the frame/ forks in such a slowspeed drop tbh so I wouldnt worry too much. Are the bars clip ons? What bike is it?

Ok kool, they could have quite easily bent. Sit on the bike and have a close look at how each side sits. should be able to see if they are out of shape. The good news is that they should be easly to replace. Get a set of renthal bars on there and its all go Thumbs Up

Did the bike hit anything? (Other than the floor). Like the curb?

If not, I wouldn't expect the forks to be bent or damaged, unless they took a bash.

The forks are just twisted in their yokes. Loosen the bolts that clamp the forks and get someone to hold the handlebars straight whilst you line up the front wheel again.

An arm and a leg, where are you based? If you are local I'll have a look for you for the grand sum of nothing.
