I paid £90 for my CBTs
That was a couple of years ago and i used my own bikes.
Lad at work just paid £100 and he used his own bike. Otherwise it would of been £130. Swains in Buxton
I self trained and did A2

I paid £400 for DAS (including CBT) in 1997. The costs nowadays seem really reasonable, so I wouldn't think twice about doing it. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

Half way through doing DAS now :
£95 CBT
£30 Theory
£15 MOD1 (failed)
£15 MOD1 (passed with no minors)
£75 MOD2 (booked for next week)
So hopefully if i pass next week, it'll have cost £170.00 all together. ____________________ Previous: Cub50, NRG50, TS50, YB100, CB125, NSR125, ZZR600, CBF1000, SV650s, ZX6R B1H, XT250, Mito Powered Crosser, WRF450, , FZ600, VN800, GSXR600 - Currently CB1000R |

i am kinda liking the logic of that.. i was hoping to get my mod 1 done on my 125 but have now learnt that i cant not use it for the test due to it having a mph conversion on the speedo which means the only way now is take a days training and use their bike which is not so good on my wallet..
unless anyone in shrewsbury has a bike i could use for an hour or 2 lol |

Is this correct, can pass my A2 on my own 125 and 2 years later ride anybike ....
A2 "Standard Motorcycle" Is, by law 25kW / 33 Bhp & Power/Weight ratio below 16kW/kg, age
17 or over and you need :-
A provisional Motorcycle entitlement
A CBT certificate (unless you've already passed a moped or A1 test, see above)
Then ride with "L" plates on machines up to 125cc and up to 11 kW only,
Pass Theory Test (unless you've already passed moped or A1 test, see above)
Pass your test on a machine between 120 & 125 cc, capable of at least 62 mph.
Ride without "L" plates and carry a pillion passenger on any bike but you are restricted to a 33 Bhp machine for 2 years; after that, you're free to ride any bike, there's no re-test. ____________________ Flip Wrote: You're a bloke, you don't need kids.
