I think I paid £120 for my CBT, £30 for the theory test, then £250 for 2 days training with the A2 test included on the afternoon of day 2, Then another £60 or whatever it was for another test as I failed first time. This was before the new 2 part test came in.

Sounds about right, but personally i'd do half days instead of full days, you'll take things in better.

I paid £90 for my CBTs
That was a couple of years ago and i used my own bikes.
Lad at work just paid £100 and he used his own bike. Otherwise it would of been £130. Swains in Buxton

I self trained and did A2 Doh!

I paid £400 for DAS (including CBT) in 1997. The costs nowadays seem really reasonable, so I wouldn't think twice about doing it. Thumbs Up

Half way through doing DAS now :

£95 CBT
£30 Theory
£15 MOD1 (failed)
£15 MOD1 (passed with no minors)
£75 MOD2 (booked for next week)

So hopefully if i pass next week, it'll have cost £170.00 all together.

CBT was about £120 which included hiring a bike
theory test - around £30
practical - £60

no training. had a friend that had already passed
I figured out that i could fail 3 times and pass the fourth and break even rather than get 2 days training

i am kinda liking the logic of that.. i was hoping to get my mod 1 done on my 125 but have now learnt that i cant not use it for the test due to it having a mph conversion on the speedo Twisted Evil which means the only way now is take a days training and use their bike which is not so good on my wallet..
unless anyone in shrewsbury has a bike i could use for an hour or 2 lol

I'm in the middle of mine just now. £500 and that includes: 2 whole days training, mod 1 practice, mod 1 test, mod 2 test.

In 2007 (before the test changes):

CBT & Bike Hire : £90
Theory Test: £45~
DAS + Test + Bike Hire : £450
(3 Days Training + 1 Day Test)

Costs depend on the school/region, if you hire a bike, and if you pass first time.

Some schools may also charge you for any damage from dopping the bike.

I bet its got a lot more expensive now...
