Hi again! Today I went for my Mod 1, of all days... I rode from Kingston Upon Thames to the Burgess Hill DSA test centre all to be greeted by a piece of paper taped to the inside of the door informing me that there was a strike today. Needless to say, I am peeved off.

Did anyone else encounter this? Also did anyone hear of any prior warning to it at all?

Anyway I am about to ring the DSA and see when I can next get tested

Wayne

unlucky, i can imagine how pissed off you are!!

i was annoyed when my MOD1 was cancelled 3 times due to bad weather so i can imagine it must be very frustraiting being cancelled because of someone being on strike !!

Not that i think it'll do any good, but i'd be half tempted to complain in writing to the DSA / DVLA !

Just rang them and the automated service basically told me to go away until wednesday. Then wait 10 days to recieve an automatic rebooking for "free" which I guess if I don't like, it won't be free! Bloody Unions.

A round trip of 86 miles for the bike and my dad who was in the car infront making sure I stayed off the M25 and was riding sensibly
