probley mean the switch that works the break light.
be on the handle bar right next to the lever.
best way is disconect the wires and touch them together with ignition on brake light should come on , if it does then the switch is fucked/rusty etc etc, if not check the wires might have a brake in there somewhere?
mine went on the back last week a wire had snapped and the switch was badly coroded so stripped it down and cleaned and greased it up...
easy to do mate..
