yea i was just wondering as i have to change my chain and sprockets i know u can make the top end/ acelleration change i was wondering which sprockets id have to change to make it do what

If you want to lower revs for a given speed, you need to go up teeth on the front or down teeth on the back (or both)

If you want faster acceleration and willing to sacrifice some top end, then smaller front and/or larger rear.

The ratio difference works out about 3:1 ... i.e. you can achieve about the same effect changing either 1t on the front or 3t on the rear ...

Unless you are after drastic changes, I'd stick to +/-1t change on the front (OR +/-3 on rear). If you change the front 1t, chances are the stock length chain will still be ok. You will probably need a different length chain if doing 3 on the rear however ... Thumbs Up

well it max's about 80 if i push it and pretty much lay on it and i hardly do that as bytime it gets there in where i need to be so i dont mind losing top end i jus want it to get to 70 faster tho im having a scorpion full system on soon so im assuming the exaust will give back some of what i lose ?

Hi

While lower gearing might make it accelerate quicker in a particular gear you will have to change up earlier. Other than in first you can probably gain the same effect from just using a gear lower.

Basicly Kickstart is telling you to rag -the-shit out of your wee bike Smile I wouldn't bother with the new system, save the money for a larger bike! It'll be worth the wait.
