Im gonna de-restrict my 99' RR NSR this weekend. Im going for the exhaust and intake restrictors for the mo.

Does this put any more wear on the engine, what should I look out for when doing it and riding it afterwards?

Any advice? (I'm kinda scared) Confused

How many miles has it done?

Of course, it will put more wear on the engine you're going to be going faster.

Intake restrictors easy... just a bit of a fiddle in a small space.
The exhaust restrictor may take you alot longer, drilling the welds off is tough but you'll get there in the end.

As for afterwards... watch out for the powerbands. Razz Laughing

A bit, but not much. Don't forget the bike was designed to be like this and then it was restricted. You're just returning it to how it should've been in the first place. Smile
