Seems the 636 has a issue which is slightly concerning me,

Everytime you brake quite hard, the front end makes like a loud click, loud enough to hear in my lid with visor down, it does this everytime you brake hard..

Anyone got any ideas what it could be?
I have been getting a bit fun with popping the front up
Possible head bearings?

Alright mate,
If i havnt got em done by then then yeah will do!
Guessing thats what it is,
cant think of anything else that would start randomly making that noise under braking...

Yeah, landing is still a bit hit and miss, trying to glide it down when my body is telling me to chop the throttle is tricky to master Sad

you should be able to feel it through your bars if its head bearings.
or loose floating disks

only if the hub was loose. If the disk is loose it can be hard to spot.

If the disk was loose wouldnt i feel it pulsing on the lever? or something

Only reason im putting it down to headbearings/forks area, is it only makes the noise when weight transfer happens like hard breaking pushing weight to the front end..

Sounds like head bearings, if you can, put your fingers under the top yoke (behind the top nut) and hold the front brake and push forwards, you should hear a bit of a "knock"
Maybe get a friend to give you a hand.

Yeah was the head bearings, got a hammer and cloth wrapped the end up loads, and gently little by little tapped the rings to the right, and its fine now
Cheers all
