use your lifesaver look over the shoulder every time you turn right, pull away, change lane etc.
assuming you have your own bike so....
practice the emergency stop. even if you can do it perfectly. do it again and again.
practice the u-turn. same manner as above. aim for being able to do the u-turn on full lock. when you can do that you really do have control over the bike
that is if they still do these manoeuvres for mod 2. i did an old type test.

also

good luck

I don't think they do u-turn in Mod 2. I don't think any of the manoeuvers are repeated. But yeh give it a lifesaver for everything even if your just moving off approaching traffic lights etc.

The U turn is covered in the mod 1, along with the emergency stop. Mod 2 is just the on road riding

Good Luck

The only "manoeuvre" you'll have to do is a hill start I think.

Just take it steady, think before you act, life saver before doing absolutely anything and try and relax.

I was sure I'd failed mine for cutting someone up but because I got on the power and got out his way (without breaking the speed limit obviously) it was fine. I think I got two minor faults both for hesitation.

Make sure you do all of your observations - mirror, signal, lifesaver manoeuvre.

You'll be asked a few times to pull up on the left, again make sure you do you observations and make sure you don't pull up on double yellow lines or someone driveway. You don't need to signal to pull away unless it's going to benefit someone.

Make sure if there's two lanes that you always return to the left lane, you'll get a minor if you don't perhaps fail if you keep on doing it.

On a 70 zone make sure you get up to the top speed - 70mph. I got a minor because I was doing 62mph, too slow apparently.

Apart from that enjoy and try not to get two worked up about it. Pretend that the headset is just telling me where to go like a satnav and forget you're being followed.

Good luck Thumbs Up

No menouvers in mod 2.

Just practice parking up in a safe place and pulling away. It's really easy once you calm down... just try no to over think it.

And remember to cancel your indicators.

I know of more than one person who's failed for leaving their indicators on, mostly through nerves.

You're ok as long as you cancel them before the next left/right turn. As soon as you go past that you'll fail.

Don't put your foot down when doing the U-turn.
Do your life savers.
Do stay rubber side down. Very Happy

I wouldn't think so. There could be a possibility of getting a minor but I'm not 100% sure.

Best of luck,
just basic roadcraft stuff, eg keep left if a car coming the other way has to overtake a parked vehicle.
Make sure it's 100% safe to go at junctions etc, but don't be over hesitant.
Just try and relax and focus as much as you can. remember to cancel signals!
let us know how you get on!
