What makes different exhausts sound different? I mean to someone like me it's a round/oval thing with comes in carbon, titanium, etc. How can they sound different?  ____________________ Bikes : 2006 CBR125R - 2004 Monster 620ie - 2004 ZX-6R B1H - 2005 Monster S2R 800 - 2011 Street Triple - 2009 Streetfighter 1098 - 2014 ZX-6R 636

There is quite a science behind it call and will be changed by many factors such as size of exhaust outlet, bore in the exhaust, length, diameter, internal design inside the exhaust (some arnt 'straight though' design).
They will also be changed by the bike the can is on how as how high the engine revs, capacity, compression ratio etc.
There is a whole lot more behind it too probably! ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |
