The Bike: Curvy SV650S

The Budget: £200.00

Requirements: Fit at least 2 helmets, and have some sort of back rest for my girlfriend.

The model: Anything, as long as it's sturdy!

I have looked through past posts on BCF, and on ebay etc. Don't know enough about topboxes to avoid the poor boxes. Any suggestions would be great... I'm looking for them as we speak but some guidance would be great.

Thank you in advance Karma

Old style (black, red trim) Givi e45. ~£100 new for the box, ~£80 for the rack and fitting kit.

This is the one I've got.

Two helmets, no problems. No shiny stuff to get scuffed up either!

edit: apologies for the merkin link, didn't have time to look further!

See my pics on this thread. https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=195523 Givi box and kit with backrest too. It's very sturdy and safe. Holds 2 full face helmets too.

Had a look on ebay and I think it's the e52. It's flush at the back with a pop out carry handle.

Why not lock helemts to the bike and leave topbox for other stuff ... Question

It's not actually for the helmets, I didn't know waht Ltr 2 helmets would be therefore asking for 2helmet minimum gives me about the space i'd like.

Yeah uh... that costs £200+ for just the box, I have just bought a rack for an unbelievably expensive price of £90.25 from wemoto.com... Amazing how expensive givi racks are. Also gone for the E45 givi box for £116.99 including postage. It's been an expensive day today.

By the way Mr.Evz if you'r planning on selling that seat rest on your box then I'd be happy to take it off you... they're charging £30.00 for just that one part. I'll chuck you £15 for it Wink

It rains they get wet.....

Some prat comes along and decides to have a joke on you... Twisted Evil and leaves a pressie inside...

Never mind the prats who will nick them.

Does your £200 include the price of the rack ?

All i would add is to make sure that you don't rely on the quick release to hold it secure......
