True, however unhelpful for him.

Cheap plugs about $4 USD max each

Cheap Oil approx $25 USD

Cheap filters will be around $50 USD

Hope this gives an indication

However as with paxovasa's comment, it depends on quality and the cost can go up very quickly by buying quality.

I recommend buying quality plugs, filters and oil as this is the first step in prolonging the life of your engine in conjunction with regular routine maitenance.

However, you need to factor in your personal budget as the 'regular' part of routine maitenance is usually the most important. So buy what you can afford to replace at recommended intervals. If you go cheap you will shorten those intervals a bit. Thumbs Up

If you go for iridium plugs then the price will rise significantly.

I use silkolene motorcycle oil synthetic 10w - 40, 4 litres will cost about £30
