Just wanted to share this with you....

Last week when I was in Exeter, following Jut (my other half) into a multi story car park to park our bikes - at the barrier, he pulls out a ticket, barrier goes up and he rides through.... I'm not really thinking and try to get through too.

Bad move.... barrier comes down on my head Doh! It really hurt! Not sure how I managed to stay on my bike, very very embarrassing Embarassed

Anyone else ever done something simular? Or is it just me!?

I went around the barrier, then got chased by this security guard. Once he caught up with me he said in a very out of breath voice, "You just road past that barrier"

"yes"

"well you can't do that"

"Why not? Its free parking no?"

"No its not, I don't know where you got that idea from. You haven't got a ticket now so you won't be able to get out, I dunno what you're going to do"

So I just road round the barrier on the way out. Tool.

I was stuck in one once and didn't want to ride round the barrier as it was next to a cop shop. Anyway, I pressed the buzzer and some woman came of the speaker, I explained the situation she said she will try and do something. Meanwhile another car pulled to come in, pressed for a ticket, barrier came up, I shot out, barrier down and the old guy in the car was confused.

I parked in the NCP next to work once(£11 per day), time for leaving I didn't pay - didn't see how to and when I pushed the buzzer and asked she said 'go on, this time il let you off'....
