PS, I assume this will work without telling Sky ? I can't be arsed with the engineer coming round asking where the phone socket is. ____________________ the undemocratically unelected mod of the Scottish section |

You only need two inputs for the recording functionality of SKY+ (you can switch the Sky+ boxes on to single LNB mode, if you don't want recording functionality)
Installation wise, as long as you can get access to the dish, it's just literally a case of running the cable down from the dish & connecting up both ends.
Although I'd be tempted to replace the single cable with a double barrelled shotgun style (like below), which is what most Sky engineers will do.

After the cable's been run in, you will just need to crimp on a couple of F-type connectors (as below)

Aye, I could use the + box as standard but might as well double it up, I live in a cottage so the lnb is at eye level so no problems there. I did see the shotgun cables on ebay here ____________________ the undemocratically unelected mod of the Scottish section |
