CANT DO THIS ALONE ANY MORE GOT BUSA ISSUES NEED HELP

i am new to this chat thing but i figured that a bunch of ideas and suggestions from people like myself who do their own bike work is the way to go! I got two issues with my Hayabusa the first is rear suspension problem I am "bottoming out" or something, I have recently dropped and streched my swing arm and though the ride solo is fine a passenger is definitely out of the question! Any suggestions? 2-- I also have had a " surge" or a rpm jump only in 1st gear and only at 30 mph of 3000rmp which ever comes first and like I said only in first gear! PLEASE HELP

A longer swingarm means it has more mechanical advantage over your shock absorber. You will, at least, need to fit a heavier spring to the shock.

By "surge" do you mean the bike hesitates/stutters?

Apparently earlier ones had slightly fluffy fuelling low down at slow speeds-Id imagine a engine tuners could sort it or invest in a power commander or similar to cure it.

You're going to have to re-spring the shock if you're bottoming out. The swingarm brace hits the bottom of the battery box.

As far as the fuelling goes - check your TPS. Find the dealermode connector in the left side of the seat unit, it's a 4-connector block with just 2 wires going to it and a rubber cap. Join those 2 wires with a paperclip and start the engine. On your LCD readout you'll have a line, that should be in the middle on tickover and jumps up when you rev the bike. Set the TPS so it jumps up to the top at 1750rpm.
