Evening/morning.
As above the rear lights & clock illumination aren't coming on. All fuses are fine & when i take a piece of wire & place one end at the +ve terminal on the battery & the other end on the brown wire on the rear light connector everything comes on as it should.
The problem came up when i removed my headlights.
Does this usually mean a wire is loose somewhere or broken? Does the fact that the lights came on as above narrow it down?
I picked up a multimeter today so going from the diagram below, what's the best way to use it & at what points on the circuit?
Also, on the tail light there is a Black/White wire & then a White/Black wire. What's the White/Black one for?
I've also currently got my horn, front indicators & headlight unplugged, i'm sure this wouldn't be the problem but may have something to do with completing the circuit.
Thanks.

Ive modded the diagram as to where i would test, Red dots where i would expect to see +12v and black dots where i would expect to see ground (meter on ohms and small resistance back to battery -ve terminal) By looking at the diagram i think the white/black is your brake light, there will be 3 wires going to that light, Rear light filament, Brake filament and ground, if you look at your rear light bulb it should have 2 filaments inside it
