you need a smaller back sprocket to get more top speed, this will make the bike higher geared but you lose low end power so first might feel a bit like second.... should be able to order in any bike shop

Hi

Looking at the JT Sprockets site there are a few different sizes available for some models of Senda. As such your normal dealer should be able to get one fairly easily.

Failing that B&C Express should be able to make one up for you (but that works out rather more expensive).

All the best

Keith

I've used B&C express before for custom sprockets and been pleased with the result - I called them up yesterday and there's currently at least a 10day wait for your order.

Remember it will only go faster if it will easily top out in top gear already - if it won't it will likely make it slower. So if it doesn't already top-out, slight down gearing can actually improve top speed as it can make full use of the power.

One up on the front is approximately equal to three down on the rear.
If you had 15/45 sprockets, it would be pretty much exactly equal.

As I say though - it's only going to increase it if you're definitely maxxing it out in top, otherwise it may well reduce your top speed.
