throttle cable stuck? with the engine off, try opening the throttle right up & letting it go.
can you hear the carb slide clunk down? if not, then its caught somewhere, like to be at top of carb.
or air leak at carb manifold (prone to splitting)
have you tried the idle adjust screw?
oh, & why are you letting it idle to 60 degrees?
cheers,
GAZ

yes, you need to warm it up, but dont let it idle for ages as it fouls plugs, which you may well have done!
stick a new plug in, start it up & as soon as "COLD" turns to a figure, then you can set off, just take it easy till its up over 50deg, then you can start thrashing it.
cheers,

once its started up open the throttle slightly so its at fast idle. effectively doing the job of the choke. see if that sorts it out after a few minutes. if not then id suggest cleaning out the carb, setting it up again and check your fuel supplys not blocked. check the plug is ok. you can clean it up with a wire brush or drag a sheet of fine sand paper through the gap a few times. just to give it a clean bit of metal. check the gap too if you can

The clutch is dragging then Confused It's probably nothing to worry about. most likely the oil viscosity is too thick (unless you've adjusted the clutch or cable) it should be no more than S.A.E.10/40 or even S.A.E. 5/30 check with your dealer for confirmation of correct gearbox oil, or your owners manual. It will run on S.A.E. 20/50 though
Pull in clutch lever, blip the throttle to 3-4000 rpm & then engage gear. If it still cuts out then clutch needs adjusting. If it keeps running then its definitely oil viscosity causing the clutch plates to drag. Wink

75W/90 is the recommended gear oil, though most folks just use rockoil lite gear oil,
either change the oil or adjust the clutch cable using the special clutch tool or 12mm socket from 1/4 set & hold it with molegrips & loosen the grub screw with a screwdriver through the middle of the socket.
also check the side stand switch circuit, these do have a habit of failing.
cheers,
