Hi all, my friend has just texted me telling me that his firestorm will not start. It just blows a fuse as soon as he presses the ignition. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Karma given as always Karma

Put a more manly fuse in there, or simply bridge the gap with a bit of wire. Razz

In all seriousness is the fuse of the correct rating that he's replacing the blown one with?

I've done the old tinfoil trick a few times with great success.

Just text him, I don't think he is dim enough to replace the fuses with anything with a lower rating than the original though Neutral

EDIT: used same rated fuse. He says he pressed the ignition and it turned over twice and then blew the fuse.

Blowing the main fuse?

Has he checked the wires on that circuit to make sure they aren't shorting on the frame or anything(If the insulation's been rubbed through)?
