Hello, my names Phil, i'm 34 and will be taking to the road in 10 days time (for the first time ever Embarassed )

My choice of learner bike is the CBF125 in black with grey patterning, this choice was made as to complete a 30 mile trip to and from work along the A roads.

Anyway, my good friend (a bandit-owner) has suggested to me that the bike needs a name. I could really do with some ideas that befit the bike im riding, so anything humorous is more than welcome.

Cheers.

Blandit owners name their bikes to try to forget they are riding Blandbits.

Girlies name their bikes because they......are girlies.

Custom bikes can be named, saves describing them all the time.

All other bikes come out the factory with a name. In your case CBF125 is the surname, Honda is the christian name.

My sr125 was affectionately known as the 'Pikey Bikey'
it was a stolen recovery.
The er5 was 'the tractor' cos that's what it sounded like.

Names come to you, you can't just name them beforehand!!

You should name your bike something that comes naturally, otherwise you'll forget. My old car was NoddyCar, current car is Grey'un, bike is EvilRaspberry. Cool

passed after 8 hours training and my clutch hand is absolutely killing me! didn't drop the bike Thumbs Up but stalled on numerous occasions forgetting to ease the clutch out after 3 seconds.
Cornering at low speed was a piece of piss as was changing gear every 10mph on the dial.

Did make the engine whine a few times though but with some more practice this weekend around town i should be up to speed so to speak by the time i go commute to work next week.

Happy Days! Cool
