bore da pawb,

I'm having issues with wobble while I'm cornering. Now I can see that my front is slightly squared off so I know I need to change it but is this squaring of the wheel causing all the wobbles?

If not then what could it be?

It only seems to happened when I'm cornering a bit and is fine when I'm going straight.

Not checked anything yet mate, only noticed it today. What do I need to do to check them?

Squaring of the tyre will cause massive handling problems. Wobble could be a symptom of that.

Tyre pressure too high or too low. 10/15PSI would be enough to upset tyre performance.

Does it happen when braking or accelerating?

Badly squared off tyres cause all sorts of weirdness when cornering. The front tyre develops ridges which can mean it feels sluggish to turn initially then all of a sudden drops off the edge rapidly.

Combine this with a squared rear tyre and cornering can feel erm... interesting! Shocked When you go to change the tyres and lift the wheel off the ground it's always a good idea to check the wheel for bearing play too. It should only rotate freely on the spindle, no sideways movement should be possible. Karma

Ah right yeah I'll check for play when the rain decides to subside. It seems to only get bumpy and odd when cornering at lower speeds. Just turning slightly feels bumpy.
